Bios

• Mrs Johann

  Johann Hunter is the co-owner of The Goddard School located in Middleton. Johann and her husband Mark have a daughter and two young sons. They recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. Johann is excited to be able to provide Goddard's outstanding program to the children in the community. Subsequent to earning her Bachelor's degree in Economics and MBA in Business Management Johann found herself entrenched in the educational development of her oldest son. As a result, Johann developed a passion for early childhood education and, understands the importance of these critical foundational years. She looks forward to sharing her passion with the families of Middleton.

• Mr Mark Anthony

  Mark Anthony Hunter is the on-site co-owner of The Goddard School of Middleton. Mark and his wife, Johann, have a daughter and two young sons. They recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. Mark and Johann are excited to be able to provide Goddard's outstanding program to the children in the community. Their goal is to be a resource for families as well as a school community where parents can share information and learn from each other. • Ms Ali

  Miss Ali is an on-site operator at our school. She has a master’s degree in early childhood education. Miss Ali is lead teacher and director certified. She enjoys watching how much children learn and grow in such short periods of time. It is so amazing to see what these little minds are capable of! • Norah

  Miss Norah is the Director at our school. She has a B.S in Early Childhood Education and Administration as well as a certification in Preschool Education, Music, and Speech and Drama. Her favorite part of working in childcare is just seeing the pure joy in a child’s eye when they figure something new out for the first time. • Brittney

  Miss Brittney is an Assistant Director at our school. She has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and is lead teacher and director certified. She enjoys being able to shape the minds of little ones and giving them the tools to be successful socially, emotionally, and academically. When she isn't working, she loves to spend quality time with her two young sons. Favorite book: Blue Burt and Wiggles by Derek Anderson Part of our family since September 2023

• Ms Amanda

  Miss Amanda is a teacher in the Toddlers, Too classroom and the curriculum coordinator for the infant/toddlers classrooms. She has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from North Shore Community College, a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Salem State University and she is lead teacher and director certified. Miss Amanda’s favorite thing about teaching is seeing a child master a skill that they have been working on. She loves to watch the children grow and learn. Knowing that you have helped them is such a rewarding feeling! Favorite children's book: The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister (Miss Amanda thinks it teaches a great lesson about sharing in a very child-friendly way) Part of our family since: January 2018

  Miss Ashley is a teacher in our First Steps classroom. Her favorite thing about teaching is being able to build a bond with little ones and watching them learn and grow. • Brittany

  Miss Brittany is a teacher in the Kindergarten Prep classroom. She has an associate degree in Liberal Arts. Miss Brittany is infant/toddler and preschool certified. She loves watching the smiles on her students’ faces as they overcome new challenges. Favorite children’s book: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Part of our family since: October 2016

• Deanna

  Miss Dee is a teacher in our Preschool 2 classroom. She is a graduate of Mount Ida College and got her Early Childhood and Development certification from North Shore Community College. Her favorite part about teaching is that every day is a new opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child. She also enjoys incorporating her love of crafting into her daily classroom lessons and activities! • Feribel

  Miss Feribel is a teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Her favorite thing about teaching is getting to know the children and being able to teach them new things while also learning things from them. In her free time, Miss Feribel spends lots of time with her young son who sparked her desire to work with and teach children. • Hasna

  Miss Hasna is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool 1 classroom. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Arabic Literature and a Certificate of Completion in Early Education and Care. The best thing abut teaching for Miss Hasna is making a big difference in the lives of her students. She believes it is amazing to build relationships with students and seeing how much they can grow and change over the course of a school year.   Miss Kelsey is a teacher in the Kindergarten Prep classroom. She is preschool certified. Miss Kelsey thinks the best part about teaching is observing the children grow and develop throughout the school year. She finds it rewarding to see their accomplishments and academic development. • Miss Laura

  Ms. Laura is a graduate of Beverly High School. She has been teaching for over 6 years and holds a C.D.A. in early childhood education. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, playing with her 3 cats, scrapbooking and country music.

• Ms Lori

  Miss Lori is a teacher in our Toddlers classroom. She has a bachelor’s degree in English and Elementary Education. She is certified in infant/toddler and preschool. Miss Lori’s favorite thing about teaching is seeing how much a child learns and grows from the moment they come into the classroom to the time that they leave. • Mr Luke

  Mr. Luke is a teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Mr. Luke has a bachelor’s degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University. He enjoys getting to know the unique personality of all the students.   Miss Melanie is a certified teacher in our Get Set Classroom. Her passion for teaching began in high school and came naturally. Her favorite part about teaching is being able to witness the joy in a child's face when they learn something new. • Mr Shawn

  Mr. Shawn is a floating teacher. He is pursuing a degree in psychology/education at Bunker Hill Community College. Mr. Shawn's favorite part of teaching is when he is able to help a child think through complex problems and aid in their cognitive development. Mr. Shawn serves in the Air Force National Guard.   Miss Susan is a floating teacher. She was previously a home childcare provider, for over 40 years! Miss Susan holds certificates in Early Education, Child Abuse & Neglect, Introduction to Child Growth and Development, and Safe Sleeping Practices. She enjoys seeing the children grow right in front of her eyes. She believes that each child as something unique and she hopes to give the child a kind, loving foundation to grow and confidence to do great things!   Miss Yereleni is a teacher in our Infant 1 classroom. She is infant and toddler certified. Miss Yereleni's favorite thing about teaching is how rewarding it is to see children grow in multiple ways right before your eyes. She also loves the bond created between teacher and student.   Miss Sydney is a teacher in our infant classroom. She has an Associate's Degree in Liberal arts from BHCC and has previously worked as a librarian. Her favorite part about teaching is watching the children "get it" and have a little "AHA!" moment when they finally master a skill that they have been working on.
